Empire Fiber Internet Expands Williamsport Network

Empire Fiber Internet is significantly expanding its high-speed fiber network across Williamsport and South Williamsport. This latest investment will extend service into neighborhoods like Garden View and Newberry, providing 2,500 additional homes with symmetrical speeds, unmatched reliability, and local 24/7 customer support.

PRATTSBURG, NEW YORK – December 16, 2025 – Empire Fiber Internet, a leading fiber-optic internet service provider serving communities across New York and Pennsylvania, announced the expansion of its high-speed fiber network in Williamsport. Since first announcing plans to enter Williamsport in 2023, Empire Internet Fiber has significantly grown its local presence, now serving more than 9,000 homes across Williamsport and South Williamsport. The latest expansion will extend service into the Garden View, Grimesville, and Newberry neighborhoods, as well as northern and eastern areas of Downtown Williamsport.
