2023 Best of Twin Tiers

Nominated and chosen by the community, the Best of Twin Tiers celebrates companies in the area that stand out as the very best. The 2023 award for the best internet, satellite, and cable service provider was given to Empire Access. To the people of Bradford, Sullivan, Tioga, Susquehanna, Wyoming, McKean, and Potter Counties in Pennsylvania, and Delaware, Broome, Tioga, Chemung, Steuben, Allegany, Cattaraugus Counties in New York, the entire Empire family extends a heartfelt thank you — we’re honored and humbled that you chose us.

FLX Finest 2023

Selected by the community, the FLX Finest awards recognize outstanding businesses in the Finger Lakes region across nine categories. Empire Access joined the roster of nearly 300 winners this year, taking home the Gold Award for IT/Office Technology.

PCMag 2022 Fastest ISP

PCMag put internet service providers to the test and published a list of the companies with the fastest speeds every year. In 2022, we set the record for ISPs in the Northeast with a score of 271.6 on the PCMag Speed Index, securing the honor of being named to the region’s fastest provider. The ranking system was changed in 2023.

It’s tempting to sit back and admire one’s accomplishments. That’s never been our style, though. These honors are motivation for us to do more, go further, and take every possible opportunity to improve.
